Using the Soil Sleuth is easy:

1. Push the Soil Sleuth into the soil, twist a quarter turn, then gently remove.  Do this in 4 locations around the plant 90 degrees apart.

2. Tap and release soil into hand.

3. Squeeze soil samples between fingers:

• Dry / Lose and light = Add Water
• Damp / Soil clings to fingers / Feel moist = Test again in 2-3 days
• Wet / Soil is squishy / Water appears = Make several more aeration holes in plant
